AP: Backlash against foreign tech workers
The Associated Press has a new report out that focuses on some of the backlash amongst U.S. tech workers over the tech industry’s usage of foreign worker visas, specifically the use of the H-1B visa. The report highlights issues such as wage stagnation and age discrimination. Please read the following report in its entirety and stand up of America’s tech workers by rejecting calls to increase high-tech foreign worker visas!

Say NO to the McCaul border bill
Please do not support Rep. McCaul’s efforts to include his border legislation, H.R.1417, as part of the solution to end the border surge. The bill would weaken current law and give the Senate an opportunity to attach the Gang of Eight’s amnesty to the deal.

Fight plans to house illegal aliens across the country
Please do not allow the federal government to house illegal aliens in our state. The Obama administration is responsible for the influx at the border and should not be forcing our state to deal with the consequences.
-
No housing for illegals!
I cannot understand why the federal government is allowing illegal aliens to flood into our country. The end result is that DHS and HHS are trying to house illegal aliens at sites around the country. Please make sure that no illegal aliens are brought to our state.

Oppose Mulvaney/Biaz-Balart/Ryan Amnesty
I cannot understand why Reps. Mulvaney, Diaz-Balart, and Paul Ryan are going against the wishes of their own party by holding whip counts and possibly moving forward with pushing unpopular immigration “reform” legislation. Lobbyists for pro-amnesty groups are bragging about this development. If all goes well for these for these Representatives acting against core Republican principles, they hope to force votes before the August recess. I hope you will make it clear to the House Republican leadership that you will not go along with plans to support amnesty or immigration votes this year.

Children pour across border looking for amnesty
Border Patrol estimates that more than 90,000 unaccompanied children from Central America will make the dangerous trek to enter the United States illegally this year. This could end up being a crisis of epic proportion, and it’s all due to our nation’s failure to enforce federal immigration laws, while providing protections for those already here illegally.

Brat’s message needs to be heard by Republicans
I think Dave Brat’s winning message is a positive one for the GOP and can help it to win future elections. Brat won by attacking businesses that are using foreign workers to drive down American wages and put U.S. workers out of jobs.

Big business bragging that amnesty vote imminent
I was appalled to learn that Reps. Paul Ryan, Mick Mulvaney, and Mario Diaz-Balart are about to do an informal whip count on moving immigration legislation. If this goes well, it is expected that the House Republican leadership will join their skulduggery and hold an official whip count and hopefully hold “comprehensive amnesty votes” before August. I cannot understand why these Representatives would go behind the backs of their Republican colleagues and do something that, in the long rung, would harm all Americans.

New study demolishes STEM worker myth
I am a science and technology worker and I know that many Americans with degrees in STEM fields are having trouble finding work. The new study released by the Center for Immigration Studies shows that there are far too few jobs for the number of STEM degree-holders in the United States. There is simply no STEM shortage.

Immigration bill is potential amnesty headache
I find it disturbing that H.R. 3344, the Fraudulent Overseas Recruitment and Trafficking Elimination Act, that may soon receive a floor vote, shares language with S. 744, the Obama-Schumer amnesty. Passage of this bill would give Harry Reid the House-passed immigration bill he needs to force S. 744 on the American people. Please do not vote for H.R. 3344’s passage.

Help save our environment by reducing immigration
Population growth fueled almost totally by immigration is causing America to lose green spaces, forests, and farm land at a frightening pace. Congress needs to change our nation’s immigration policies before it’s too late.
