• Block S.B. 54 from passage

Assembly Committees are debating S.B. 54, which would limit communications between local law enforcement agencies and Immigration and Customs Enforcement. This is wrong and dangerous, so I am asking you to block the bill from moving forward in the Assembly.

  • Please pass H.R. 3003, the No Sanctuary for Criminals Act

I urge you to support the recently passed House bill, H.R. 3003 that would end sanctuary cities, if it reaches the Senate floor for a vote.

  • Your guide to photo I.D.

How to tell if it is being racist to require photo I.D.

  • Vote for sanctuary city legislation

Sanctuary cities are out of control and put themselves, and illegal aliens, above the law. This disregard for the law has cost scores of innocent Americans their lives. H.R. 3003, legislation that would help to end this lawless activity, will receive a House floor vote this week and I urge you to support it.

  • Drop all charges against CMP defendants

I am writing to urge you not to refile charges against David Daleiden, the founder of the Center for Medical Progress, or his associate, Sandra “Susan” Merritt, for their roles in the release of undercover videos that showed Planned Parenthood employees appearing to negotiate the price of aborted fetal body parts, and to dismiss the lone remaining charge. I believe it was a mistake to charge them in the first place.

  • Thank you for supporting concealed carry reciprocity

Thank you for your support of the concealed carry reciprocity bill (H.R. 38).

  • Fix your foreign policy

During your campaign, opponents claimed that you would get us into World War III. I not only scoffed at the idea, and pointed out your many statements about disengaging the U.S. from the role of world policeman, but reminded them that the horrible foreign policy track records of the Clintons and our past presidents argued for “business as usual” should you not be elected.

  • Fix vote fraud

As a candidate, you made references to vote fraud as a serious issue in the United States. I agree, which is why I applauded your executive order establishing a commission to investigate vote fraud.

  • Fix the bureaucracy

As a candidate, you often made reference to draining the swamp. As laudable as this goal may be, the “swamp” exists because the federal government has become so gigantic, so invasive, and so all-encompassing that anyone who wishes to get anything done in this country must necessarily apply to Washington at some point — either for help or permission. Draining the swamp, therefore, isn’t enough: You must eliminate it completely. Draining it will only create a vacuum, and nature abhors a vacuum.

  • Fix immigration

As a candidate, you made numerous promises regarding illegal immigration, including building a wall. Clearly, you are not going to make good on that promise any time soon.

  • Support S. 446 and H.R. 38

Thank you for endorsing national concealed carry reciprocity during your campaign. But now Michael Bloomberg is plotting to kill S. 446 and H.R. 38 by splitting Republicans with a $25 million campaign utilizing fake activists and fake news.

  • Thank you for voting for the Verify First Act

Thank you for voting for the Verify First Act. It is ridiculous that anyone could oppose legislation preventing illegal aliens from receiving taxpayer-funded tax credits. Benefits such as these encourage illegal aliens to come to the U.S. in the first place.

  • Thank you for ending DAPA amnesty

Thank you for your administration’s decision to rescind the DAPA program and the extended DACA program that were put in place by President Obama. While it is disappointing that any president would actively seek to subvert U.S. law and the will of Congress, I am glad that you have made sure that they will not take effect.

  • Vote yes on H.R. 2581

Rep. Lou Barletta (R-Pa.) has introduced the Verify First Act, H.R. 2581, to ensure that illegal aliens cannot qualify for taxpayer-funded health insurance credits.

  • Veto S.B. 54

I am a California voter who wants you to veto S.B. 54 if it reaches your desk. As Attorney General, you opposed sanctuary cities because you understood the dangers posed by criminal aliens. Those dangers have grown and S.B. 54 would further shield them from capture and deportation.

  • Block passage of S.B. 54

I am a California voter who wants you to block passage of S.B. 54. Preventing police from communicating with ICE about criminal aliens is dangerous and violates federal law. Police may not know what convictions or other offenses are on a person’s record, or who that person really is, unless they communicate with ICE. Do not play politics with our safety and well being.

  • It’s time for House Leadership to act on Davis-Oliver

A few weeks ago, the House Judiciary Committee has approved H.R. 2431, the Davis-Oliver Act, that would strengthen interior enforcement. This critical piece of legislation is badly needed to ensure that the Executive Branch upholds its duty to enforce federal immigration laws.

  • Veto any spending bills that don’t fund your enforcement priorities

I urge you to not sign any relevant spending legislation that does not fund the border requests listed in the White House’s FY2018 proposed budget. For too long, the federal government has ignored border security, and I’m confident that the results of your request for funding would reduce illegal immigration at the border and strengthen national security.

  • Don’t increase H-2B visas

We are writing to express our concerns with the increase in H-2B visas for FY2017 authorized by Congress through the Omnibus appropriations bill last month. There is simply no evidence of a labor shortage, especially among the most vulnerable American workers, to necessitate this increase.

  • Reduce legal immigration

I was concerned by your recent statements to the Economist where you said that you did not want to reduce legal immigration levels. These statements contradict your Joint Address to Congress when you said, “Protecting our workers also means reforming our system of legal immigration. The current, outdated system depresses wages for our poorest workers, and puts great pressure on taxpayers.”
